The Steel Commode Wheelchair with Rear Castor Lock is a durable wheelchair designed for users requiring a commode chair. It features a steel frame, removable commode seat and rear wheel locks for safety. This commode wheelchair provides convenient toileting access for those with limited mobility.
The wheelchair comes with a powder-coated steel frame that can be folded flat for storage and transport, enabling easy placement into a closet, trunk or other compact space when not in use. The steel material is resistant to rust and scratches, providing long-term durability. For toileting, the seat features a removable plastic commode pan with lid to contain waste.
For safety and control, this wheelchair model includes 5” PVC rear casters with locking brakes to fix the rear wheels in place while seated or rising from the chair. The lockable casters help prevent unwanted wheelchair movement on uneven or ramped surfaces. They can be unlocked for rolling mobility when commode use is complete. PVC front casters also 5” in size for smooth navigation.
Additional features include padded PU armrests that flip up, detachable footrests with PE footplates and padded seat upholstery. The padded and durable materials provide comfort for extended periods. The detachable parts allow for customization based on user height and mobility level.
